Last Sunday, the Urban Sketchers Netherlands had its third National Sketchcrawl in the beautiful city of Haarlem. Around 70 participants could be found in Haarlems city center. Although it was a sunny day, the wind turned a springy Sketchcrawl in something like a polar expedition. The sketch above is a quick sketch of the Saint Bavo cathedral.
This sketch took more time, obviously. On spots like this, a drawing just can’t go wrong.
A final drawing of the typical dutch windmill. Haarlem deserves another visit, it has just too many great top drawing spots for one day. Thank you, Urban Sketchers NL, for the organisation!
