Hierboven zie je de lege hal waar de Corsoclub Culemborg werkt aan ‘Luchtspiegeling’, de wagen waarmee ze op 27 september deelnemen aan het Fruitcorso in Tiel. De bedoeling is dat ik het hele bouwproces ga volgen in tekeningen. Ik ben er nu twee avonden geweest en ik ben onder de indruk van het werk dat verzet moet worden. Hieronder zie je mijn schets van het gipsmodel voor de eerste wagen: drie dromedarissen. Op de tweede wagen komt een rotsblok met een geheim dat de titel ‘Luchtspiegeling’ helemaal moet waarmaken.

Above you see the empty hall where the Corsoclub Culemborg is working on ‘Fata Morgana’, the car with which they will participate in the Fruitcorso in Tiel on 27 September. The intention is that I will follow the entire construction process in drawings. I have been there for two evenings now and I am impressed by the work that has to be done. Below you see my sketch of the plaster model for the first car: three camels. On the second car there will be a big piece of rock with a secret that should fully live up to the title ‘Fata Morgana’.
