Two cartoons made fo the dutch ‘Association of Municipalities’ (VNG). Municipalities are supporting people with heavy debts to get back control over their financial situation by making agreements with creditors. However, the national government keeps on sending bills (taxes, fines), raised with ever increasing fines – working against the work of municipalities. The cartoons were made to support actions of the VNG in the dutch parliament.
Twee cartoons die ik maakte voor de VNG (Vereniging Nederlands Gemeenten). Gemeenten ondersteunen mensen met zware schulden om controle te krijgen over hun financiële situatie, door regelingen te treffen met schuldeisers. De nationale overheid echter blijft rekeningen sturen, telkens verhoogd met extra boetes – en doet zo het werk van de gemeenten gedeeltelijk teniet. De cartoons werden gemaakt om acties van de VNG bij de Tweede Kamer te ondersteunen.
